    Some players last season who were actually CONTRACTED to a club didn't get paid for weeks (southend, Palace, Pompey etc) - when we get paid by Cardiff etc then these players will get their money. I bet they are not down to their last penny or currently overdrawn like some of the fans probably are !!!!!!!!

    I believe we got the Cardiff money some time ago, as the debt was sold to a factoring company.

    I would guess they won't be able to wind up the company with outstanding debts so I imagine this is all in hand.

    Just to inform fans that the SkySports.com news editor has just agreed to take this story down from the website.

    We complained yesterday that the story had no basis, and they have now come to the same conclusion.

    Not only should they take the story down they should put up an apology, I suggest we all e-mail SkySports to complain.
