Have always hated Loftus Road. In no way does it resemble a football ground. Hate going there0

Fratton park and readings old ground, both have had trouble at. Readings old ground can't even remember its name now elm park?? What a dump.. toilets like potting sheds broken terraces and trouble at the train station. Fratton park, being shat on by seaguls and running the gaunlett back to the coaches. Same for ashton gate and st andrews.0

Agreed hate that ground. One of the worst away ends i can remember was the Old Gay Meadow ground, Shrewsbury.0 -

Back in the day, one of the worst I can remember was Wolves...the crumbling terrace in the away section made the old East Terrace look brand spanking new...and its a shithole area. Carlisle wasnt much better, the open terrace at the away end was pretty dismal. Hull was bloody orrible as well....as was Grimsby and Peterborough....laterly Swindon....what a shit away section.....no chance of creating any sort of atmosphere at all. The Dell and Highfield Road...both felt like you were standing in a ditch....Brightons old ground was a dump, but always a cracking turn out bu us down there, so it made up for it. The alley at the Manor ground was always trouble waiting to happen same at the Old Den....the pylon was where nobody wanted to be.....somehow always seemed to end up behind it....Hereford back in the seventies wasnt too crash hot either....gawd the list is endless.....0

surprised you didnt mention the old southend away end. remember being squashed in there like sardines at least once, they had to open the side bit of terrace or we would have got crushed0 -

Old Den - Floodlight in the way, and caged in like animals
Elm Park - Nearly done my ankle in, on a plank of wood placed to cover a hole in the away end terrace.
Manor Ground - Mate of mine ripped out the speaker wires as the music was still playing for a minute into the second half.
Kenilworth Road - Soulless hole
Loftus Road - The original Subbeteo away end.
The Dell - Seats were a fire trap. Hate to think what could have happened if a match hit one of the old bits of wood in there.
Fratton Park - Seats stuck on the old terrace. Another horrible hole.0 -

Remember a game at the Dell, penned in that great cage thing, pissing down with rain, 3-0 down at half time. Everyone sung their hearts out second half, drenched, utter shithole, amazing atmosphere - clawed two goals back (Think Caton (RIP) might have scored one of them our end with a free kick).... everyone went utterly mental - huge surges, drenched, pissed, folk on the floor behind those bloody railings... we lost but that was what a football match was about to me.0

Withdean Stadium by a mile, would never go back! Sat miles from the pitch and even our win last season did not cover up what a rubbish excuse for a ground it is. And in Decembr last season, it was freezing!0

the dell - saints keeper john burridge did the w******ker sign at us after they beat us i was only 12-13 and my dad was very angry (lets just say if the fence wasnt there!!!!!)0

Swindon was not much better for a ground which is souless and cack0 -
TBH, our judgement is often influenced by our team's result. Worst for me was City Ground Nottingham, were we were pelted by the natives sitting above us
and police meddling only against us. We lost 5-2, coaches delayed because of broken windows etc. Then Elm Park, rusting roof, insufficient space and lost 2-0.
Our result put aside, I feel Withdean is the worst, followed by Loftus Road, then all those soulless new grounds I've decided never to go to. Looking forward to
my first visit to Hartlepool's Victoria on Dec 18.0 -
Goldstone Ground - halfway line seat, pillar blocking my view right in the middle of the goal. We were 5-0 down at half time and the trouble was I could see all of the goal at that end. Finished 7-0.
Selhurst is an awful ground. It's a disgrace for a team that has been in premier league and finished 3rd in the old Div 1.0 -

has to be saltergate for me. saw it for first time in cup two years ago. it had large holes or rust in the stands side panels. that followed by odsall stadium, as the pitch appeared to be miles away and we were stood on a mud bank!0

Yep id forgotten that...it was in the days when the away terrace was at the opposite end to where it is now....we played there on boxing day once if I recall rightly and there was a massive crush where everyone moved to the side to avoid being trampled0 -

Lost 4-2 as well if I remember.
The 'toilet' was just the back wall painted black, with a bit of guttering on the floor leading to a drain.0
