can anyone recommend a good builder? Just agreed to buy a new house and need major refurbishment work carried out before I can move in...

    You post the job spec and anyone interested gets in touch with you. They've all been vetted and can supply references. I had a big extension built last year and got the guys from this site. If you want the builder's number/email, whisper your email.
