Oldham have sold 114 in advance - Bournemouth brought 1,500. Go figure!

114! I knew they wouldn't bring many but that's appalling. I'm guessing they will have less than 200 and be "countable." No wonder Pav jumped at our offer.

Will be interested to hear what Airman says on this one, but personally thought the home turnout was more or less the same as B'Mouth. As for the away end.....600ish.

significant number, my guess, 14838. Anyone get the connection?
  • The question, Alex, should be is there really any one who didn't?

    unbelievablt stat that
for Wigan-Stoke maybe just about acceptable but for the visit of the champions

sooner the rugby league side are back down in the Championship the better

There were about 550 Oldham in the end - a good walk-up on the day compared to their advance sales, but 1,000 less than Bournemouth brought.

We sold 1,750 home tickets on the day, which was virtually the same as Bournemouth, but the advance sales were down (although season tickets have increased by 150 since then so that has to be offset - 8.904 yesterday morning). In fact, we were pleasantly surprised by the walk-up.
  • It is also a very popular weekend for families going away before school starts again in circa 2 weeks' time.
