The london thread got me thinking about this comedy/drama from years back, just gone and got the whole collection on dvd and this weekend i am going to watch the lot starting 2nite


anyone else remember pincy and billy

    also got them on dvd

    my favourite other charactor was "stretch" the black gangster and his booming laugh

    it's mad watching it and seeing docklands before it became canary wharf

    Yeah I remember it, loved it, a bit grittier than anything around at the time and certainly than anything now. Was it on C4 or BBC2?

    thing that annoys me is Channel 4 have three channels (four if you include 4OD) and yet we never get to see stuff like this or the manageress or scully or all the various other good stuff they had on around then yet we are hit all day every day with friends and the like.

    I bumped into Brian Bovell on the train back from Liverpool after this years Grand National.I was pissed up and told him how great that programme was.

    About a dozen times. . . :o(

    Used to love that series. Really black ending to the first season if I recall?
