Just drawing to the attention of fellow Lifers the fact that this
evening, the Oak in Old Dover Road hosts the JVL Allstars, featuring
Chris Holland (Jools Holland, Squeeze, Green on Red), Seamus Beaghen
(Paul Weller, Madness, Babyshambles, Desmond Dekker), Phil Veacock
(Jools Holland, the Deptford dance Orchestra), Richard Holland (B
sharps!) and me.
Admission is free. Lifers get a 50% discount. We'll probably start at
about half 7.
Please come and say hello to the bassist.
