I just thought that I would take this opportunity to thank everyone for the fantastic support that Charlton Life has given to the Charlton Upbeats. To have raised over £4,000 in donations is awesome and it will make a real difference to the future of the Upbeats programme.
Preparations for tomorrow night's Dinner are now at an advanced stage and I am confident that the Charlton Life members who will be joining us will have a great night.
Once again Charlton supporters have shown that they are proud of the work carried out in the Community in the Club's name and my fellow Charlton Upbeats Committee members and I can't thank you enough for your support.
Charlton Life played a huge part in last year's success in winning ITV's 'People's Millions' which kick-started the Charlton Upbeats programme. This year you have played your part again in ensuring that this important and much-needed programme can continue to flourish.
I must be getting soft; this is enough to make me forgive you all for knocking my Carbrini shirt sponsorship deal two years ago!
