Your Second Chance

We have been unable to get some winners from last weeks raffle to confirm as yet and there is a possibility that there may be spare pairs of tickets for the dinner this Thursday.

In the event of a redraw, could all contributors (you must have made a minimum donation of £25 on the JustGiving page) make themselves known on this thread (or by whisper) if they are available this Thursday and wish to be included in the draw, by close today (Monday).

A final decision and notification of any redrawn winners will be announced noon Tuesday.

*****

Details of the dinner (worth £120 for a pair of tickets) are below:

When: Thursday 14th October 2010 at 7pm
Where: The Valley, Charlton

Formula One racing champion Damon Hill, who is also a patron of the Down's Syndrome Association, will be supporting the campaign and is confirmed as Guest Speaker.

Bob "The Cat" Bevan will be providing entertainment on the evening and fantastic auction items will also be up for grabs.

My friend and I are going on Thursday. However, to be fair, we are (only slightly) nearer the wise old bird category than hot young chicks....

PS After reading Charlton Life for a very long time without ever posting, I never thought that my first word would be "Shag"!

  • Well I would have gone to this, if I had got a ticket and was not photographing the adorable Ms Nigella Lawson, ( having been put on to this by a lifer)

Some times life is one hell of a bitch isn't it?...... Anyway the lovely Geogia Hill might be there if Damon is hosting this, so a double blow.......

    Have a good night guys!

Oh dear, you've not been corrupting the poor lad have you? And more importantly, given the grief he always seems to get whenever the subject comes up in the programme, what was he wearing?
