If we can put a 90 minute performance together as good as the last 45 aganst MK Dons and Plymouth then we should win this game, but we need to come out and play from the first whistle, not after we have gone 1 down in the first 10 minutes! If we have aspirations to win promtion then we need to start showing it and theres no better time than against the current league leaders. Parky needs to show now that he can motivate the team from the off.
I'm going for an optimistic 2-0, as for the scorers I think Benson and Waggy (if fit), if not then Benson and Reid.
  • I applaud the faith of many on here (61% currently predicting a home win) but having jut looked at the stats, Brighton have lost only twice away in 17 games in the league since Xmas.

[cite]Posted By: grumpyaddick[/cite]A real drubbing will put pressure on the Chairman to get rid of Mr V Neck and a lucky win will mean we are sudddenly invincible.

    0-3 and Parky goes..

Blimey, talk about living up to your username!

So the way you see it we'll probably get tonked, but if we do happen to win, then it will have been through pure luck rather than any footballing ability.

How many home games have we lost since Christmas?

Three. But you can't argue their away form is impressive. Our home form is ok on paper but as we well know, the performances haven't been. Draw for me.

Definitely can't argue their away form isn't impressive. Our home form is ok 'on paper', but we're only assessing Brighton's 'on paper' as well because none of us have been to all their games :)

I'm still hopeful we can beat them now are strikers are slowly finding their shooting boots.
  • Waggy trained today and should be fit.

Certain to start ahead of Martin. I think.

Why? Because he's on the cover of tomorrow's matchday programme !!!

Kish will be up for this one and, even at 36 and in the twilight of his career, will compete for 90 minutes. I'm not confident our midfield will.

3-1 to Brighton with one of Kish's 30 yarders going in for once. I will be sticking a pound on him being 1st scorer if the odds are half decent.

Think it will be a good match tomorrow and we will need Defence- Midfield and Attack to be on their game to get a result. I think the atmosphere will help us as well as the fact that Brighton will probably play their own game rather than try to stop us playing ours so my instincts are saying we will win this but I'm not expecting anything but a close game.

According to what he said to me last night, he expects to be on the bench.

    Parky may surprise him though!
  • All down to Kyel Reid tomorrow, could be his sort of game. If he is in the ' Zone ' then I can see that long overdue pasting of another team. If not and he goes all church mouse on us then it's gonna be as tight as a camels chuffer in a sandstorm.
  • 3-1 Charlton, watched them last week, looked nothing to fear, with all due respect to them the reason they are top is that everyone else is dropping points.

    great opening post WSS

i think this one will be a 0-0 draw. We could really use a Clean Sheet. Hopefully Dailly and Fortune can rally the back 4 into our red army back there!

Who said it was going to be your toughest test of season in the opening post. The toughest test must of been at St James Park.

Anyway I will be there tomorrow, a nice little win for us against Carlise and you would be a prefect day. Up the addicks

Brighton will pass the ball around, which will give Benson a chance on the break, I reckon a one goal win for Charlron.

The fans needs to play a part

Got a good feeling for this one (so undoubtedly we will lose) 1-0 win with Benno to score from a Redi cross

Us scoring 4 goals? Yeh, right.

I think we'll match them in everything but the scoreline. 1-2
  • Hopefully we will nick it , but who really knows!......

Always feel happier playing the better sides ( for what they are in this league)

So Benson has found his scoring boots, we will see after today's game. Perhaps we can bring the 'killer' on at half time if all else fails!

2-1. Go one nil down in first half and then batter the seagulls for dinner in the second. COYR!
  • This has got a draw written all over it.
