Charlton involved in Qatar world cup bid.

From today's program.

Charlton community trust chief executive, Jason Morgan was delighted that Qatar was chosen for 2022.

"The trust was involved in both the England and Qatar bids."

    And our payback is a multi billionaire pumping funds into the club who also understands what it is to be Charlton.
  • I was just wondering why we were involved, not sure if there is a link to any potential takeover interest, just seemed a bit unusual that a little club like ours should be part of any single nation's world cup bid.
