What are the odds on who will be first to break the news, then?

Some random agent's Twitter account?
Officlal Charlton Twitter?
Official website?
Sky?
BBC?
CharltonLife?
News Shopper?
South London Press?
Talksport?

My bets are on Sky...

At half time during the Tottenham replay, a great big cake will be wheeled on to the centre circle, and the new manager will burst out of it.

Should think we'll find out via a tweet from Dan Roan at the Beeb, he seems to have his finger on the pulse.

Realistically, Sky Sports news unfortunately. Thought it was extremely poor practice that the OS didn't publish the story until about an hour after it had turned up on Sky, presumably because someone important thought that tipping of his mates in the media was the priority.

It will be via one of Dodgy Jimi's overseas property groups, and before we are told we will have to sit through a two-hour timeshare demonstration - NAILED ON

Interesting suggestion! Might not even be noticed if it were Hoddle...

The mist (rollin' in from the Thames) will part and the new person will gradually become visible, shrouded in a kind of a golden sunlight halo and with a suitcase full of £50 notes.

My money's on The New Bird from Countdown.

I had one last night it said...

A Wise man will show the way....

    coincidence??? hmmm?
  • Don't care who announces it.

It had just better be a quality name capable of making the team gel.

However, the one thing you can probably guarantee is that it will not appear first on the OS. Those days of ''only believe it when...'' are long gone, I suspect.

Keith Peacock's going to say it in burp during Sunday's post match interview.
