Apart from the obvious of course, I am hoping to see that Keith and Damian have looked at the squad and come up with a few tweeks to make it their team. I particularly hope to see that we are obviously playing to a tactical plan which has been well thought out, something I never saw under the previous coaching team. I am expecting a terrific atmosphere, and if we all go home with a smile on our faces we will all be winners.

That everybody has a good day out whatever the result and that we get behind the team 100%

    No Bale.
  • Hoping to see 4350 fans making a raucous atmosphere and reminding ourselves that we are a fairly big club with decent support when we want to be.

Oh and a sneaky last minute winner.

However, I am expecting the usual dross atmosphere when its a 'big' game that we sell out and some of the plastic away fans come out of the woodwork, a comprehensive 4-0 defeat and the Yids taking the piss for 90 minutes.

A good atmosphere, hopefully everyone standing and getting behind the team. Maybe something to cheer about, like an early goal or something before the predictable collapse. But if they put in the effort and show some desire then i'm happy.
  • Hopefully a good away atmosphere with no anti semitic chanting.

A nice full monty fry up will suffice.
Football - As long as Spuds keep it under 5 I will be happy.

my yid supporting mate crying into his beer come 4pm...
  • Am I alone in thinking that we might keep it a bit closer than some on here are fearing?

I'm not expecting to see Bale or Van de Vaart and the Spurs defence is definitely a bit dodgy (not quite as dodgy as ours admittedly but they've hardly kept a clean sheet all season)

If we go there with a positive attitude and attack them an heroic 1-1 is not out of the question!

I'm meeting a bird after the game so I'm hoping to see a pair of t*ts that's not Wise and Wilkins.

A replay with the Valley rocking again like the prem days.

At least some of the pitch - I have "restricted view" seats!

A mate of mine who's a Spurs fan doesn't think they'll score lots of goals - let's hope he's right.

Im hoping to see 4200 charlton fans making a really good atmosphere and show what the prem is missing. Whatever the score, remember this is just a bonus for the fans, players and club, we get behind the boys and give the yids as much stick as truely possible. i really dislike their supporters.

from the players im hoping to see a gritty, no fear performance. i wanna walk away and say 'yep our players gave everything today'. i can handle getting beat by tottenham, they are a Champions League side.
  • A decent performance!, a performance we are not ashamed of!, a bit of pride and even when we are under the cosh, we support the team, and Keith providing they put a shift in.
Our cup performances have been abysmil over the past years. If you are a pro footballer and cannot put in a decent shift for this game in the circumstances perhaps you should consider a career change!

A Tottenham 'B' Team, some sort of visible game plan developed by "the management", no embarassment, us to score at least 1 goal. Am not expecting us to win - although, of course, that would be great....but I'd be happy with a decent performance and a display that shows they are 'up for it'!

  • The game, somewhere on an internet stream here in Thailand.
  • Fight, passion and commitment from the players and the latter two from us fans.

Anything else will be a bonus for me including JT''s above picture which has really brightened up my morning.

Have a feeling we'll nick it 1-0. Cant wait.

A bit of pride and heart from our players.

Spurs are far better than us so I expect to lose but the manner of the losing is important.

The one thing we don't really want is another cup replay.

We're clogged up enough with re-arranged fixtures already.

What am I hoping to see on Sunday?

A proud day for Keith Peacock.
  • Us score when we are still in the game

Failing that, Sylvie Van der Vaart could give us all a consolatory kiss on the cheek... the finest wag there is!

Since when were lifelong Charlton supporters and season ticket holders "plastic" fans?
