So, what players should Howe sign when he gets here?

Thought this would be a good game to play while we wait.
Who could he bring in from Bournemouth?

    Danny Green - Daggers
  • Depending on the cash, tbh. Although I'd rather say the new manager than Howe. As for signings:

Bradley Wright-Phillips/Charlie Austin/Will Hoskins for striker on a permanent deal
    Townsend/Landsbury(Arsenal)/McEachran on loan
Dean Morgan and Gary Niven from Chesterfield

Howe was 'arry Rednaps first signing when he went to Pompey. Loans from Spur's would be good, assuming we can now pay the wages.

Bradley Wright-Phillips and Charlie Austin look like they'll be playing Championship football for the rest of the season. Hoskins was close to signing for us during the summer but went to Bristol Rovers, could be a possibility but i doubt it.

Townsend and Landsbury were both on loan at Championship sides, after Townsend's performance against us I could see him going to a Premiership team or staying at Spurs. We won't get Landsbury, his a Championship player. McEachran has been in the Chelsea squad for a while now, he won't go to us. Once again, if anywhere - a Championship club.

Morgan and Niven, don't know much about them but I'd rather buy from players in our league or from the Championship. I know Chesterfield are doing well but are they players who can push us towards promotion?

For me I'd like Danny Green, he can cross the ball unlike many of our current lot. He scores goals and has already played with Benson which means it could benefit him to get more goals. I'd like Nathan Eccleston, he is tall, pacey, strong and knows where the goal is. He only scored once for Huddersfield but many of this apparences were from the bench. I'd also like another defender somewhere along our back line. We're almost certain to get a couple of loans in the last part of the season to give us a bit of a boost so these three signings should be enough.

    No premature speculation please.

Although... see 6 million to spend

I'd be surprised if that is right but we'll see...

I'd like to see some loans from the Premiership - Philips would be decent.

Great call Muttley. True class even at his age.
  • Beckham's available. We could sneak him from under 'Arry's nose. He would look good on our bench.

Would certainly get goals at this level and a pertnership with Anyinsah would be pretty awsome IMO.
  • Ryan Harley is out of contract in the summer, but Exeter have already turned down two bids from Brighton

    No chance of that happening.

    Danny Hollands would be good.
