Fair point, but whoever comes in i would like them to build towards something better for example, keep the ball on the deck etc . main concern is to win at the momment but the long ball football has never suited us so we need to stop

    Just for his tweets
  • Warnock has flourished down south so why not. He brings alot behind the scenes scientists and new fitness ideas. Just not sure some of the valley would like his style of play and soon get on his back, plus he may bring el haje diouf with him nice idea but totaly out of our league.

Maybe so... it's just that if we carry on playing this crap football I can see a day when I stop going altogether! There are other things (apparently) in life after all.

Jesus if people were fed up with the football we've been playing.........try watching one of Big Sam's teams for a few home games!

    A big no from me.

I don't trust any manager that wears an ear-piece.

    Dowie, Brown, Allardyce...

At this stage it sounds like some of us are looking for a manager to lead us back into the Prem.
It'll be nice if it happens.

Meanwhile though, I'll be happy with a manager who just gets us promoted - this season.
    One step at a time.

And if that should be some Northerner with Millwall connections, whose style of football makes Parkinson's look like Poyet's........ then so be it.

Now that I've got the mental picture running inside my head, I'd rather Sam Fox's pair than Allardyce's.

Don't see the problem with Big Sam's style of football.

It works, plenty of goal mouth action and goals, hard working teams giving 100%, a few cloggers but always a few skill players too. Claus Jensen played for him albeit for one season until we bought him.

His teams don't roll over for "bigger" clubs either.

Can't see him coming but I'd have him.
  • This would really pull my mind apart

I believe we would be effective and we would go up

but it would bore the arse off me
  • I met Big Sam earlier this year in Sydney during Rovers' pre-seasn trip, he was a thoroughly nice chap and his Blackburn squad were impeccably behaved.

He chatted happily to all comers and posed for dozens of photos with English tourists, he is certainly not up his own arsehole like so many people in football.

However, if people think he'd drop down to League One then they are mistaken.
  • I want passing football to be our mark so no from me.

I agree with the post above, I cant see big sam dropping down to league 1. I think he would drop to top championship team at the most, he is a proven PL manager after all.

Lets be honest here, results are much more important than the style of football being played.

After all, if you are winning games = good football
