Going with Son, paying when we get there.

Really looking forward to it as it's the first match as 'just a fan' since Brentford away.

I'm going with my dad, getting tickets there. I only normally get to a couple of aways a season, family thing going an hour from Sheffield on Sunday so it's worked out quite well.

I don't think my dads gone to an away game since Chelsea in the Carling Cup. Hope it turns out to be as good as that was.

for those that are going by train theres a decent newish pub at the train station (nothing like the usual run of the mill train station pubs) that has a massive selection of beers, well worth a visit before or after the game http://www.sheffieldtap.com/

  • One of those unfortunately, rough weekend with work and too much money spent Xmas and the aftermath, a shame really as it would've been great to go up to the old haunts and see a few mates.

As I live in Sheffield obvious no brainer with a few of the charlton lot coming up tonight we're celebrating SCPs appointment early, I would recomend people not to drink in Hillsbrough as Sheffield City centre offers a far more attractive selction of pubs and bars. Recomend The Devonshire Cat which is just of west street where you can get the tram, the Sheffield tap at the station and various other on west street where the tram to hillsbrough goes through.

You must be confused, as they were relegated from The Championship last season.

By rights they can chuck you off or fine you as you wouldn't have a valid ticket for that train. You may find a lenient inspector, but I wouldn't be confident.

But don't forget it's pay on the gate, so we'll have a fair few more than we pre sold. I'm paying on the day as I didn't want to buy in advance & then have it postponed.I'm surely not the only one.

Well what a shite start to the day this has been. Tried getting train tickets last night but something kept going wrong. 23 quid single to liverpool was what I was quoted. Went there today and told them about what was going wrong and they wanted 70 quid. After throwing quite a few f**ks at them I am needless to say on my way back home. Been up since 4.30 for nothing
