Sheffield Wednesday lead the chase to sign Lee Hughes from League One rivals Notts County with a £200,000 deal. Two other League One clubs and a Championship club have also made enquiries about the player.

Better not be us! Doesn't strike me as a Chris Powell type player anyway.

    I'd rather have Dennis Wise

as said before, we sign Hughes and my season ticket goes back.
  • How many strikers do Wednesday want? They've got Mellor, Morrison, Madine and Heffernan already.

Has there been a club below the Premiership that hasn't been linked with Mathieu Manset of Hereford? Just seen a pic of him, built like a brick wall!

Manset was recommended to Hereford by Guy Ipoua - there's a blast from the past.

wasn't he linked with Charlton for a few years
  • Sean Morrison moved from Swindon to Reading for £250k - seems cheap, he was solid against us. I think a few lifers wanted him for us.

Messi is a good player and just about as much chance of coming to a league one club as Honda.

Nothing small about him. looks like he'd be better suited to egg chasing.

He'll probably follow whoever has the luncheon vouchers. Must cost a fortune to feed him.

Andros Townsend of Spurs, who some fans mentioned as a potential loan target, has signed for Watford.

Why's that then? just because they've borrowed one player who played well against us when surrounded by quality players?
