Due to the champions league final, however better than going to Cardiff0
-
The Blue Square Premier play off final is in Manchester too, at Eastlands, again because of the CL final0
-
definate weekender potential*
* if we need it !0 -
Whats the capacity of Old trafford versus Wembley?0
-
Old trafford about 76k, Wembley 90k ?0
-
Old trafford is 77,000, Wembley 90,000.0
-
would mean a few less day-trippers if we did end up there - only proper CAFC would go
wonder how many of their 40,000 Millwall would have taken if their game with Swindon had been at O/T0 -
Wembley for a play off final is 77,000 public sale tickets0

I'd expect teams to get around 25,000-28,000 tkts for Old Trafford0
-
Football league saying they'll be 66,000 tickets available to the clubs involved0
-
Could someone confirm the playoff final dates, i thought it was weekend 20th May, but from that the artical it appears to be around the 28th May?0
-
....so 33,000 tickets for us if we get there?0

What, 700?0 -
Great - local for us!0
-
I would've preferred Cardiff, the stadium is right in the centre of town and surrounded by loads of bars. Old Trafford is in Manchester.[cite]Posted By: WhenIwasLittleBoy[/cite]Due to the champions league final, however better than going to Cardiff0 -
The whole things blooming ridiculous as far as I'm concerned. Should've told UEFA to shove it. 2 weeks to put up some advertising boards around Wembley? Yeah right0
-
I'd play it at the Racecourse ground if it meant us going up!0
-
more likely to do with Wembleys dodgey pitch being overused, and lower tier 'cloggers' matches can be sacrificed...?0

Not great for us with limited spare cash, presuming we get there
a big fat double Booooooooooooo from me.0 -
Wembley's pitch is fine now.
UEFA rules innit, when we bid for the final it was going to be on the Wednesday, so it wasn't an issue0 -
Booorrrring. been to old trafford and it's not all that, lol. Spotland next week is a first however! Bring on the Dale!!0
-
Would have prefered Arsenal.(though the capacity is less so it probably would never have happened)0
