    why wasnt todd suspended when he gave Deano a black eye in training then? Was the incident that bad it was just considered rather than suspend him just get rid at the end of the season?

    I think it might have been because they felt it improved Deano's looks!

    Curbs mentions it in his book. In essence the squad was split in support between the two of them. Curbs wanted a united squad so he decided to nip the dissension in the bud and remove the aggressor as he saw it.

    he don't help himself that Barton. Will get his move, but i doubt he will attract the top club he is probably good enough to play at....
