What's the best way to get back to the train station, gotta be there by 5:20pm..?0
-
Your best bet would be to pre-book a taxi to pick you up at Spotland at the final whistle. Town Taxis (01706750750) are pretty reliable.
You could run/fast walk it but its a good two miles so its not ideal!0 -
snow coming down here tomorrow... - you know what that means. No fecking trains for a few days.
(tho i checked rochdale, set for sun on saturday)0 -

I was surprised at the time that no one commented. Anyway got to Milton Keynes on the 09.20 from Euston before I found out.
Good day though, got off at Stoke and went Uttoxeter races instead
That's only 4 lots of train fares to Manchester lost so far for this one.Adult & kid x2 cancellations. Boooooooooo :-)0 -

Forget Charltonlife...Rochdale have got 'Cafe Life', lol, so if you're at a loose end (pardon the pun) you can go along on tuesday afternoon to the Nitty Gritty group ;-)http://www.rochdaleonline.co.uk/events/search?searchvalue=29-03-2011&searchtype=date0

Still going, I refuse to be beaten (unlike Charlton). Staying in Manchester overnight now.
Must be my most expensive game ever. Probably cost over £200 with cancelled train fares etc.0 -
3rd time lucky, still going.
First time: went Blackburn v Wolves
Second time: Bolton v Wigan
Third...
As above, never spent so much to see one Charlton game.0
