Keep hearing this banded about this season (more than I remember in the last few). Who do you think is the best player on the planet at the moment?

    Well would say Ronaldo but he was shite today, probably Ronaldinho still (despite not his best season)

    a great question.

    Its skewed because you will always notice, and the press will always make a bigger thing of, an attacking player.

    Ronaldo has been awesome this season, i think he deserves the title. Kaka is seen as his rival, but i have no idea how well he has done in Italy.

    Ronaldo definitely for me, Kaka as has been said, with Ronaldinho and Messi as the other contenders.

    Never have I been as impressed with a defender than in last summers world cup. Fabio Cannavaro is the best in the business as a defender. Ronaldo as an entertainer, Ronaldinho all round and Kaka as a striker.

    10 gOAls in 12 in CL for Kaka IS FANTASTIC BUT 8 in serie A - not good in the league to mark him out as best in the world IMHO - he is a fantastic player without a doubt but not consistent enough at league level. But then again if you listen to the pundits the CL is the best competition so he is top scorer --.

    Ronaldinho has 17 at league level.
