    What about families where on was a sportsman and another achieved fame in other fields
    such as
    Bobby Charlton & his daughter/neice Suzanne Charlton (Weather girl)
    Gordon Banks & His nephew Nick Banks (Drummer in 90s band Pulp)
    Tommy Fraser (Port Vale) and his grandad Frank Fraser (1960s gangster)
    Chanel four "funny" man Alan Carr's dad played footba;ll but i cnat remeber his name.
    Dion Dublin and his dad who was in shawodywody (Although that migh have been an uinternet wind up.)

    I always thought Suzanne Charlton looked wrong without a comb over. i realise this probably says more about me than her!

    EDIT: Alan Carr's old man is Graham who managed Maidstone after Peacock.

    Am I right in thinking that Johnny Hollins son is Chris Hollins, sports reporter for Breakfast TV and winner of that dancing show?

    Quite right, Sixa. and John's brother Dave played in goal for Newcastle and Wales.

    You are. In fact, I met Chris Hollins at last year's Sport Relief mile. He told me he was in Charlton's reserves in the 90s, "under Grittie and Curbs".

    Watching Wales v England tonight reminded me of Nick and Ben Youngs both of whom have represented England at scrum half.
