With our form picking up since Powell took charge, and the fact that he will have extra time to make the squad his own, I was thinking that perhaps all the postponements over Christmas may have been a blessing in disguise.
We are now well placed to mount a good promotion challenge if we win our games in hand. I imagine teams immediately around us in the table might wish they were in our position with regards to points and games played

I agree. Pity Walsall & Swindon weren't postponed.
On second thoughts, no it wasn't. Because if they had Powell wouldn't be our Manager !0
