    Played for England and Sheff Wed in the 50's - Now name the only other England player whose name began with a Q?

    Ruel Fox is wrong (I cheated and looked at my Rothmans football yearbook) but there was a Spanner called Freddie Fox who played one game in 1925.

    Indeed it does which is why I mentioned that he had played before the period requested in the question. This was also apparant from the fact that the 6 required names had already been identified.

    Personally I prefer WW1 to WW2 but that is a matter of choice.
