i dont think its correct playing games like this on a weekday when most fans cant make it,

I can't believe they have put this game on a Tuesday night, I feel sorry for the carlisle fans....0

it's a rearranged fixture. What Saturday would you propose we play it on ? 5th July any good ?
Hartlepool away was a rearranged fixture too.0 -
Agree, They should have scheduled it on Saturday 8th January instead.
Same as Hartlepool away. Why not play it on Saturday 16 December?
Kavanagh out.0 -
yes, and at least 50% will be London-based or neutrals dragged along by someone London-based.

More than we took to Hartlepool.
But then again Exeter took more to Carlisle midweek last week, but then again that is a really short journey, and they do get 5000 every week, and they hadnt just won 4 on the spin......0 -
Hartlepool took 65 to Exeter on Saturday0

No doubt some numpty will sing " is that all you take away" with no idea as to where abouts Carlisle actually is.
Good job nobody sings anymore as the thought of that chant being heard is cringeworthy.0 -
the Hartlepool match was an evening match last year and they brought over 100, though it only looked like about 30.
Anyway Carlisle are a bigger team, i think they'll bring about 140.
Borat0 -
There are a large number of Carlise based Grecians though...0

It will get sung. For the life of my I have no idea why they sing it? Are they being ironic or are they just bell ends?[cite]Posted By: Jarman[/cite]No doubt some numpty will sing " is that all you take away" with no idea as to where abouts Carlisle actually is.

I don't think Will Carling has a hundred fans. Not since that nasty business with Lady Di anyway......0

Will you chant it? Of course you won't, we've got some right morons at the club.[cite]Posted By: Airman Brown[/cite]I've been to Carlisle in midweek - and for a Friday night game . . .0 -
Yep, the usual inbreds will come up with "your support is f***ing s**t"
oh the irony0 -
Impressed by their support in the past. I will stick my neck out its full length and say 350-4000
-
doubt they bring 400 anywhere0

I remember going to carlisle in the league cup, early eighties. There was 58 charlton fans in the ground,i was a young man in them days, only 14 years old.I told my dad that i was going shopping for clothes in lewisham and caught the train to carlisle. My parents found out that i had gone to carlisle and put out a message over the tannoy in the ground for me to go to the police to get escorted back to carlilse train station arfter the match for my own safety.I arrived back in euston the next day on the paper train 8 am,to be met by my not to happy dad,we laugh about this now, never missed a game in those days,my fondest memories of watching charlton.0
