with the poor showing. In area over a while would it be better playing Jenkinson on the right solly on the left with mambo in the middle with dailly. Would get them ready for next year?

  • I think Jenkinson has done well at left back and Solly didn't look comfortable at left back. Solly right back, Jenks left with Fry in the middle.

I thought Dailly, Doherty and Fortune all looked past it today. What must Llera be thinking when he doesn't get a game and that lot do?
I thought Francis had turned a corner when Powell came in, but he's seemingly turned back again now. I don't think he made one good cross today.
Jenkinson was the best of a very bad bunch, but he needs to learn to watch his own goalkeeper, several times tonight he was oblivious to the fact that Elliot was looking to make a quick throw. His lack of awareness gave their forward the time to come and close down the keeper and put pressure on us.

Yes, I thought he was looking ok. Problem was though he tried to run and can't.

I thought his game improved after he went off.

I said after seeing him in pre-season that "we have signed an absolute liability there." I rest my case.

Oh .. and please ease off on the calls for Mambo. Have we forgotten the Shrewsbury game already? He is Lenny Henry in a Charlton shirt.

Fry is worth a go in central defence. He played well there for Gillingham last season.
