    Well said.

Has been our best player in the last three. Playing out of position but looks more than competant and very assured. Would like to see him play at RB.

Play him at centre half or right back and we might see the best of him then. Fair play to the lad, he's played well the last 2 games considering he has no decent left foot.

Excellent again - even taking that free kick off Dailly right at the end

    A lot of potential there

he's not a left back that's plainly obvious but he's definitely a plus point in what was yet another dreadful night.

I like the lad, but play him where's he best. He's not a square peg.

Despite being the best charlton player over the last 3 games, he has a lot more to offer especially on his stronger side the right. He has a good right foot cross and shot, this will show as he gains confidence (over more games). In the future he will be playing at a higher standard where the football will bring out the best in his game. He gives his all, thats all we ask.

For me I just don't see it, as an opposition manager, it would be so easy to pick Charlton off, we are to predictable tactics wise, and Jenkinson would be top of my 'target' list playing at LB. You can get away with wrong footed players on the wing 'just' in my opinion, but not at full back.

The amount of times last night in the first half Elliott wanted to throw the ball to Jenkinson but didn't knowing that he wouldn't run down the line away from trouble, but would have to turn back inside onto his right foot drove me mad. Not Jenkinson's fault he's being played at LB, but it's the square pegs in round holes syndrome. I assume Fry is injured?, if so then I'd have played Llera at LB.

I also struggle to get to grips with the apparent 'love in' we seem to automatically have to feel just because he's a youth player, at the moment he plays at RB, possibly CB or not at all.

knew from the brentford JPT game that we had a player on our hands here. Get rid of Francis, put Jenks right back ffs. The amount of goals we are conceding, we need to tighten up our defence. Francis crossing ability isnt gonna solve that. Lets get it right at the back first....get players playing where they should, a decent CB and GK and we wont concede.

Great attitude as well. Probably along with Dailly the only one who is really showing that at the moment.

7/10 only player above a 6 in my opinion last night (and only BWP and eccleson were at 6's the rest were 5's/4's at best) - looked very assured was always looking to get the ball and play football even playing out of position on his weaker side

Came across well at the Q&A evening earlier in the season and looks to have potential. Has made errors too though and he need supporting by Doc and Dailly to keep his positioning sharp and make sure he holds the line etc. Seems to generally be doing that though and that is is encouraging for a young defender. I'd be seriously considering shifting him back to RB and Francis into central defence if I was Powell (probably in favour of Dailly so we have a first and second ball centre back pairing again). Fry has had a couple of dodgy games and isn't a natural overlapping fullback, but I'm not sure he's done enough wrong to warrant being left out in favour of a 19 year old playing out of position. I'd like to Jenks carry on ion the side though as he's earnt it and I support shuffling things around a bit to a)accomodate him and b) try something new at centre back.

He maybe isn't quite so marauding in attack as Francis, but his use of the ball when in possession is much better (that's important for a full back as it's often them who start attacks once the centre backs have won the ball back) and he looks equally, if not more, assured defensively - he's switched on and decent in the air.
