Players throwing themselves on the floor.....

Infuriated me last night.

And I'm talking about our players.

This argument that it's part of the modern game, all teams do it, blah blah is bullshit.

It completely breaks up the flow of the game and, imo, stopped us on more than one occasion last night from having excellent attacking opportunities (not naming names).

Players fall over at the slightest touch and I think it breeds an almost lily livered streak in the side. We are lightweight enough as it is. We need to harden up because we are too much of a soft touch at the moment, especially at The Valley.

Fully agree ... it was a joke last night ... and so many got up immediately after with no sign of pain. Racon and Waggy were two particular culprits for us.

The best was when Carlisle were on the attack ... one of their players was on the floor in their half waiting for the whistle and their keeper ran up to him and told him in no uncertain terms to get up and join their attack ... one of the only amusing things from last night.

I still remember Scott Parker's embarrassing tandrum with the ref (Spurs?) when he threw himself to the ground. That just sums up footballers today...utterly spoilt selfish brats!
