On the back of the discussion on former players and whether they continued to hold a candle for Charlton after their departure: I bring you the strange tale of Fabrizio Miccoli, captain of Palermo who was playing against his hometown club Lecce at the weekend. Still a supporter of Lecce Miccoli's armband bears the colours of the Lecce ultras.

With his team 1 - 0 down before half time Mic curled a free kick into top corner and promptly burst into tears, before failing to emerge for the second half. Too much.
