LL, i think our PPG this season is 1.52.

Last season's PPG for the whole season (1.83) would currently have us 3rd on 57pts,

This season's PPG would have seen us finish last season in 9th with 70pts.

Just shows how bad we have been in the last 4 games. Jenks gets 3 MOM in a row and still only ends up 10th.

Agree, although Jenkinson has been by far and away the best player over the last three games I think he really shines out because everyone else has been so poor.

my guess is that we dont need to improve much ton the 1.52 to ensure a play off place. Last year was exceptional when 6 ran away from the rest. Anyone know where league tables can be found for the previous few years to see what it is

Jenkinson is a good prospect. a very good prospect in fact, but 3 consecutive MOTM performances- don't make me laugh

Do you not think he was the best player out of a bad bunch in the last three games ? I'd say he was, or at least was very close. It's a great stat for a youngster who's just broke his way into the team but I feel reflects more the poor performances of the team as a whole.

MOTM is judged in relation to our players - as a whole MOM would have gone to an oppo player in atleast 3 of the past 4 matches

    http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2009-2010/table/2010-03-02

All leagues by season and by each date in the season as well.

Never had a proper look on that site, but it has a lot more stats, vs top half, vs bottom half, attack, defence, sequences and plenty more. All, home and away.

Even lets you create a custom table - We're top! - League One matches from August to February played at home where the team has scored 1 or less.
