Anyone know the date of the opening fixture?

For the record I don't expect Darren Bent or any sheiks to be present then.

    Friendlies all to TBC Costa and Braga at the VAlley 4/8 , Gillingham away 28/7 , Welling Away ??/7. Overseas tour to South Africa but they may now be off as we've gone down. Maybe to Mrs Pardew's homeland instead

    Damn thought it probably would be .... in Dorset then, if it's a home game I hope it does get put back - or is pouring down in Dorset so I can curtail the family holiday!
