Target man so what we need with Anyinsah's injuries, Bensons suspension etc

Good signing imho, was at Chelsea and they offered him a deal to stay before he went to West Ham so good pedigree. Also had an excellent game for West Ham at Villa last season- was on tv and he stood out as being a real talent.

However, did not pull up many trees in his other loans.

Charlton now have five players on loan at The Valley, with Nouble, Fry and Parrett joined by Federico Bessone (Leeds United) and Neil Etheridge (Fulham).

    No Ecclestone?

@NE39 is not going to be happy with Tom Harvey:

That left Powell with just one available senior striker in Bradley Wright-Phillips

What about ecclestone? Not mentioned as an available strikers or in the list of current loanees? He hasn't gone back has he?

Well at least the players are coming from Prem Clubs (other than Bessone) now rather than Plymouth.

Fry and Parrett Youth loans, you can have up to 5 loans in the match day squad, so Bessone won't be in the squad tomorrow

So the Paul Hayes interest is obviously done... Preston must have held firm.

Not too sure about Nouble, I think perhaps an old head would have done us the power of good amongst all these kids but they don't exactly grow on trees do they.

Hopefully a bit of physicality and commitment will improve us.

Hmmm...another young player coming to Charlton to get experience. All of these players may be fine individually but I don’t see how they are going to be able to perform to their max (which is what we need from them) when they have absolutely no leadership other than Dailly around them.

I’m really gutted that we didn’t get a loanee in who has experience (really hoped Chrissy could use his Leicester links to get Howard) and could come straight in knowing what football at this level is all about. I think that would have complemented the young players we already have here. No we’re asking boys to do a mans job, I really hope they’re up to it.

Looks a decent signing shame only for 28 days though. too little too late imo and he still hasn't sorted the defence out, we have to score 2 or 3 to get a win.

By all accounts, Abbott initiated that move himself.

I think this is a great signing - we desperately needed some Nou-blood in the team. Mind you, knowing our luck he'll probably get Noubled ten minutes into the game.
  • To be Frank, not a bad signing.

This guy should do a job. Still hoping for one more signing today as I still think we need a CB. I'm still expecting Fry to leave next week and will be interesting to see if he makes tomorrow's squad as his loan is up on the 19th.

Nouble is a good player easily league 1 level... but then again so is most of the squad.

I reckon Nathan Dyer had a big part to play in this.
  • Abbott wanted out as soon as he found out about the interest
