I am sure you are too busy supping on an expensive bottle of red somewhere (bought by the wages we give you) - but just in case you ever do read this site or any of the other plaers do, a little message.

I have followed Charlton for 30 years now and you are the worst player I have seen. You are gutless, with no talent and no heart: If you disagree - well prove me wrong in the next game then!

I am looking forward to the summer when we will part ways.

The collective sigh of disappointment when his name was read out, sums it up for me!

    Useless.

Jackson said in the programme that Danny Devito would be ideal to play McCormack in a movie. Can't disagree.
  • He epitomises what is wrong with Charlton at the moment. He's not useless but he's also not good enough to play in a team with promotion aspirations. The lack of investment in the team over the last four seasons has meant that we have too many like Macca on the books. As for him breaking a leg. That comment is a disgrace and if I had my way a ban would be coming Screamers way.

  • Watched him closely today as I was so amazed he was still in the starting XI after getting dragged off on Tuesday.

The frustrating thing is he does actually show flashes. He played a sublime 50 yard cross field ball that set up one of our most promising attacks of the game. If Jenkinson had have looked up and slipped Wagstaff in earlier it was a great opening. He also made a couple of great challenges.

However, how many times does he lackadaisically dwell on the ball, pass blindly where he pretty much knows (or should do) that an opponent will be in the vicinity, or wait for it to bounce, or hesitate so as a 60-40 in his favour turns into a 20-80 within the blink of an eye. If you tapped his knee with the rubber hammer it would spring up about a minute later.

There are glimpses of talent there but it is absolutely and horrifically overshadowed by an astounding lack of urgency and intelligence. All in all he is such a limited player, if you gave me a sheet of A4 and said write down his qualities, apart from jogging about aimlessly I would be stumped. Whatever anyone says about Francis and even my own personal crusade against Doherty (who I can see why Parkinson targeted and I don't think his cataclysmic decline was foreseeable), McCormack is by a million miles our worst permanent signing under Parkinson.

What i dont understand is why we play racon out of position to accomodate him, then by pushing him out wide we drop one of our best players in reid. I just cant see the mentality in this and just what they see in McCormack. Bringing Reid on for the last 10 minutes in the last two games is also a joke, what difference is he gonna make in that time and give himself a chance to get back a starting place.

Wishing serious injury on him is totally out of order.

Imo he is stealing a living from us, Powell should be able to see how poor he is. He shouldnt be anywhere near our first team.

Reid has done bugger all when he started games. Massively underwhelmed by him to be honest.

Lay off him FFS, when we lose people just start getting negative. I think Al has played alright this season. He don't mind putting his foot in, un like half the others.

Maybe but giving him 10 minutes aint gonna make no difference and by playing racon wide the team is unbalanced as he drifts inside alot leaving the team with no outlet or wide man, we are lacking attack minded players and just feel at the moment ried she be given a run and mccormack relegated to the stands he is complete and utter shit.

It's evident that to be charitable he is playing at his level. Some might say he is playing above it. I spent time watching him today and he did get in one or two good blocks and passes that sent Jenks and Fry away. Against that he seems very proficient at what in rugby is described as running fast to get there last and never quite make the necessary tackle.

He is a product of Parky's miniscule budget. I'd be inclined to drop him for Solly if Jenks is ok. Solly can't do any worse.

He's a sack of shite, I thought he would be the sort of energetic, angry midfielder we have been screaming for

    Turns out he's a bottler

Couldn't agree more Dicko , we have a keeper that is too small to command the area while we stick a big commanding keeper on the bench. Racon being dragged off in every damn match while the likes of McOxo stays on is beyond annoying and the three from the "west ham academy of football" are not good enough.

I only stayed to the end today so I could boo and that isn't something I've done before but the players seem to just not care in the main

I'm gutted that I've bought a ticket for dagenham and even more so that I've renewed my season ticket
  • To me he's Matt Holland without hair or geeing the crowd up and no impact. But hey, Francis is now 3rd choice, we can't blame CP for giving senior pros every chance.

Woah, woah, woah that's a bit harsh isn't it?

    Surely Francis deserves that spot.

IF the board are going with this suicidal idea that we just simply write off this season and rebuild a totally new shiny hard working creative squad in the summer then players like this lazy, feckless shyster must be first out the door

One of the worst players ive ever seen play for Charlton, it really worries me that Powell has persisted in starting him - but at least we've got Francis out of the side now, cant be long left for McCormack. Offers absolutely nothing.
