    Sure it will be ; - )

Got to give all three credit for coming out despite the results.

I'm sure people on lesser message boards will moan before and after the event that no one asked any hard questions despite not bothering to turn up and ask them themselves.

Got a moan? Then go along and put the question straight to them. You might find out something interesting.
  • Well said, Henry.

Let's hope that both meetings achieve a good attendance . That's the unknown.

We both know that our guests will be honest & as open as they can be .

Well worth a couple of evenings away from "Eastenders" etc.

Im sure the lady who arranged the meeting will make some comments as to how it went when she logs on. She's not on here constantly. Unlike myself.

Bearing in mind we promise not to repeat anything that is said on message boards, it makes it difficult to comment.
However, Richard didn't really say anything we don't already know.

Interesting....so he said our team is crap and slagged off all the players, he then picked out a few scapegoats before going on to blame Chris Powell and spouting on about how Parky was the best thing to ever happen to the club and was on the brink of turning around all the failures when he was sacked, he blamed the new owners becasue they have loads of money but didn't spend it/have no money and are just chancers...and then finally ended the evening talking about how the US Government blew up the twin towers...blimey, glad I ended up at work so long I missed it!

    ;-)

  • Thankyou to Henry , and Fanny for organising both events , they were excellent.
  • Thank you for coming along, Mendonca. Good to see some new faces there.

Regarding the content of last night's meeting, I believe an earlier post this week says it like it is .

Just re-read Mick Collins' post .......

According to peter varney at last nites meeting he said that 14 players are out of contract at the end of this season.

I know that those of you that went cannot pass on what was said to you in confidence (quite right too), so can I ask; did you come away from the meeting feeling reassured and confident that everything will be OK in the end?

Tell me that you got a warm glow and that will be good enough for me.

shame there's no gossip, used to be fun on this forum, what happened??

    :)
  • DEFINITELY a feeling of confidence & positivity as far as the future of the Club is concerned - I couldn't have felt any warmer !

In Slater, Jiminez,Varney, Kavanagh & Powell I trust.

All parties are here for the long haul, no doubts about that.

Wish you could have been there to feel the glow in person, Bigs.
