I believe that on Tuesday night that either as the team runs out or if (when) we concede a goal, we should turn our backs to the players.

I get paid next week and was going to renew my season ticket, but now I think I'll use the money to pay a bill instead!

£240....at the moment I don't want to pay £24 for the bloody thing!

Sorry but I just don't see how turning our backs would either help the team of the club. However, as a strategy for making the game look better I think it just might work.

It would show that we can have as much intrest in the game as the players seem to have.

Its better than booing or just walking out or not even turning up.The club gets the cash and the players get a chance to show us they care!

The Charlton end will be pretty empty, I'll be there. Saints can attack and finish teams and the fact the likes of Brentford/Exeter/Daggers/Hartlepool manage to get 3 points from us doesn't bode well :-O

We can't defend set pieces at all and Saints have jus scored a simple 1 against Wednesday so hope we don't conced sloppy fouls or corners........…

  • We need to win this one! The easy games were the last 8. The run in is a nightmare. We would have to do REALLY badly to go down but at the moment we are doing REALLY REALLY badly!

Muller time , i think we'll let in 4 goals , and the fans will be leaving by half time , and those that are left to the end will be booing.

or as people say the gloom will lift and we will win 1 - 0 ( BWP)

Can't see where our next win is coming from. Are we cursed, as someone suggested on another thread?

Support your club or take the easy option, define your character.

Paying good money to support players who don't care and have limited ability rather than putting it to a more rewarding use - yes, that probably does say something about us.

Turn our backs on players? Jesus.

Brittle/little confidence - ensures a great performance from our limited players.

It really is miserable being a Charlton fan. We have to put up with the players and they have to put up with them. Spiral of misery.

    I'll be there.

Will be travelling back up from Dorset so will likely have a load of their lot on the train up too - oh joy.

Why would I turn my back on my club?

I'm putting yesterday behind me rather than putting the team behind me. On current form it doesn't look good, but as they say football's a funny old game. It's not exactly unheard of for a team on a seemingly never-ending downward spiral to beat a team that in the ascendency. I'll be keeping the faith and cheering the team. I wouldn't say I'm brimming with confidence, but we've got to win sometime; it might as well be Tuesday. Southampton have already lost nine games this season, lets get behind the boys and try and push that number into double figures. Come on you reds!

So we just let the players take several thousand a month and play like shit and do nothing? Isn't turning your backs to players no worse than what they are doing to us or will be doing if we go down? Won't most of them run away because they will not want to play in L2 even though they got us into the mess?

But as this is good ol little Charlton we'll carry on taking it and scream and shout at anyone the boos them!

So carry on playing like it because we wont do anything!
