    I think its fairly safe to assume that wouldn't have been printed but someone who lacks this kind of awareness will lack it in all situations.

    Although i don't really care too much, I would have thought that there would be something in the discipline code covering public comments however they are made. As the Clubs Head of Communications* perhaps Airman** knows what the players can and can't say and whether they receive any media / communications training.

    If I made comments like that about my employer on Twitter I'd be sacked for breach of contract - why don't the same rules apply to Kyle Reid? Perhaps he should grow up and learn to work on his own weaknesses first before attacking others.

    Towards the end of the season he looked like he was going to be a huge player this season. Southend away seems a lifetime away

    Watford pre-season he was absolutely taking the piss out of the defence. Came away thinking he would walk the league this season!

    Does he recognise his weaknesses or if he does, does he even consider them important?

    might be in the minority here, but I really don't think he's had a fair crack of the whip with us....10 mins here and there. People expect him to produce every time he gets the ball, which is never going to be the case for a winger.

    I'll admit I don't know what he does / how he looks in training.....

    Personally I like him and would like to see him stay, I'm baffled he can't even make our bench at the moment.

    He showed enough last season to suggest he is well above the league 1 average- having said that he hasn't been fancied this season by Parky or Powell - has to be a reason for that and the blame probably has to go to the player.

    I think the fact he's never very lasted long at any club tells it's own story.

    Undoubtedly has a degree of talent somewhere but I suspect his attitude is getting in the way of his career going anywhere. Don't expect to be seeing him in a Charlton shirt again either.

    I don't generally go in for attacking our own, but when they do things like this they really have to realise that they're doing themselves no favours whatsoever.

    Out of order, but why is he being allowed to Twitter from the bench? His mobile phone should be switched off from stepping off the team bus until the post match teamtalk has finished, imo.

    Who the **** cares? Anyway, yes, he was a good manager but he wasn't perfect, I'm sure there were players he fell out with and froze out of the squad, it happens everywhere.

    BTW, Exiled, he wasn't in the matchday squad

    I can categorically state this would not have happened under Curbs.

    Not least cos ruddy Twitter didn't exist.

    Back in Curbs day, Alexander Graham Bell was still considered cutting-edge !

    Curbs fell out with a lot of players which sent out a clear message to the others that if they crossed the line, it would be hard for them to get back into favour. This approach seemed to work ok for him on balance. If Reid tweeted something innapropriate from the bench - that would be it as far as I was concerned - out on his ear.
