Archbishop fights for pub name
If you were taking over or opening a new pub what would you call it?
I've always thought that Bartrams/Floyds should have been called the "Goalkeeper's Arms"
Any other fav pretend or even lost names for pubs?

Back in the day, a certain high street bank ran a competition to name its in-house drinking facility for staff. "The Weary Banker" actually made it on to the short-list before someone caught on.0 -
