anyone looked into this? I read in the paper recently a test won on this technicality, am hoping it might apply to Bexley the money grabbing barstewards..

didn't realise that, I got one of those tickets for stopping outside the Barclays Bank by Bexleyheath station a few weeks back, £100 reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days, I'd literally stopped there for about 2 mins to jump out and use the cashpoint0

My advice is ALWAYS appeal parking fines and ask for a personal hearing with the National Car Parking Advisory Service.
Ive done this twice and on both times. On both occasions I claimed costs and I'm £150 up against Chelmsford Borough Council.
