Played for Aldershot reserves last week. We've given him permission to play two non-first-team games for them.

Not really surprising, has had two years as a pro but not got close to the first team. Has done well enough on loan at Ebbsfleet and Cambridge in the BSP, a division or two higher than a lot of the young pros have played, so I think he'll do well for someone around that level.

No surprise. Expect Mambo to go the same way too. If there was any chance of either staying they would have got at least on the bench. Expect Tuna and Davidson to go also.

He probably hasn't shown enough especially if McCormack can still get ahead of him.

I have heard that Tamer Tuna is having a trial at Wycombe Wanderers from a 'source'.
Cannot add anything else as I have not spoken to the player himself, so remains a rumour.

I wish him well, as i do all the young players.

So with the possibility of Wycombe being promoted and Tuna possibly going there, you can guess what will happen next season.

As always, the younger players are suffering from being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nobody would take a gamble with them at the start of this season because promotion was the aim and the conventional wisdom is that you need seasoned pros to get you out of League 1. Unfortunately the seasoned pros didn't do it.

I know that the younger players wanted to show what they could do but never got the chance. If they leave, they will be just as keen to show what they can do.

It's sad that we spent so much time and money developing these kids but not give them the chance to show what they could do, yet journeymen are regularly featured in our unsuccessful team.

Shame if Tuna goes, he looked like an intelligent footballer in the JPT last season, got a goal and seemed really up for it, I would rather we played him in the final 10 games this season than Nouble and Eccleston

Problem is Tuna and others have gone out on loan and haven't stood out in non-league football (or if they have, not at a high enough level). Playing Ryman League and then starting for us in League 1 is a huge step up.

Good luck to them, they can still work their way back up the leagues as players like Arter have shown.

But surely he had an opportunity to impress when out on loan at a lower level. I'm sure the club was keeping tabs on his progress.

Powell has had the opportunity to see him in training and one can only assume, hard as it is to believe, that the likes of McCormack appear better than him.
