Taken from last week's Newshopper. Now I know he's a bit slow, but this is ridiculous :-

Backwards running is set to come to London for Crystal Palace Park on July 17th.

World champion Gary Doherty will be taking on competitors as he looks to break his record of running a mile backwards in 7 minutes 30 seconds.

Now, I know he's a bit on the slow side, but that's ridiculous. Having said that at least he's making the best use of his assets.

 

(It could of course be a different Gary Doherty  :-)

    Based on current form I'd say he set that time many years ago.
