    Elliot 6 - little to do, never confident in his handling, distribution generally decent apart from one awful throw out to a 'Pools player

    Solly 7 - real deal this full back

    Doherty 6.5 - did well given his lack of pace

    Llera 6.5 - much better when he's not hoofing it

    Bessone 7 - just for doing the Powell leap at the end

    Wagstaff 7 - links so well with Solly

    Semedo 9 - MOM.  POTY performance, he was everywhere, brilliant passing (where did that come from?) and nearly scored again.

    Stewart 7.5 - calm, always talking, good range of apssing, still not fit though

    Harriott 6.5 - great debut, never hid, always looking for the ball - could do with getting his head up more but can't criticise a first year scholar on his league debut!

    Wright Phillips 6 - all the talent, none of the effort (better second half on that score)

    Benson 7 - decent game, probably at his limit though

     

    Forch - special mention.  Give the boy a testimonial, not his fault he wasn't signed in his testimonial year and with his injury I think a few of us would turn up for him.  Charlton man.

    Elliot 9 Great distribution and that's what you judge a keeper on plus a clean sheet
    Solly 7 - got up the line well and despite Pools putting a tall player up against him gave nothing away
    Doherty - 6 Was steady enough when came on
    Llera - 6 loads of time at the back as United happy to sit back. Some good long passes
    Bessone 6 did well enough
    Wagstaff 7 worked well with Solly and got behind them a few times. Closed down very well
    Semedo 8 very solid
    Stewart 8 best I've seen him play
    Harriott 6.5 Raw but put in at least two good crosses with either foot. A prospect
    Wright Phillips 6.5 Worked well for the team 2nd half to try and find a way through a tight, unambitious defence
    Benson 5.5 worked hard without anything coming off

    n/a Fortune 7 Was looking steady again. Such a sad ending
    n/a Racon 5 little impact when we needed it
    n/a Eccleston 5 Little going forward and suddenly no one was closing them down when we didn't have the ball. Still don't think he's a winger

    Stewart - 7.5 - even half fit he looks a class act. take him away from corners though.
