frampton,schofield,grimes and sullivan released by that lions lot

i know its like swearing on this site!! but millwall have released andy frampton (strong centre back) midfielder danny schofield as well as sullivan! was just wondering championship players to be signed hmmmm

    Thought Schofield looked looked useful the few times i saw him play.

    Apart from Sully its a big no from me .

    Schofield wants to move north , Frampton played most of this season for Swindon . Grimes scored loads for Lincoln in L2 last season but so has Stewart Fleetwood , Leon Mackenzie and Izale Mcleod.

    Not seen enough of any of them (still early to really judge Sullivan). If any Millwall players are better than what we have and Powell wants them then why not.

    @BigRedEvil I think it was WSS who said Powell would be talking to the out of contract senior players today. So I guess there will be an announcement in the near future on who will be released.

    Frampton has never looked the business to me, but Schofield could be worth a look. Always impressed me, even going back to his Yeovil days.

    Schofield is the one that jumps out of that lot as like others have been impressed with him, bit surprised he has been let go but don't know how much he has played this season or his personal circumstances. Frampton was at relegated Swindon this year so big no there.

    Would also like Sullivan and think that is a fairly big possibility.

    Out of the lot I reckon that Sullivan is a good shout. Not sure about the others though.

    Sullivan is the only keeper I have liked this season. Watch him after the Rochdale equaliser - he knows who is to blame for not covering him at the rebound........and he tells them face to face !

    Sullivan looked solid between the posts when I played, and seems a nice fella as I noticed him chatting and having a bit of a laugh with the fans in the front row of the North a few times.

    Schofield is would also be a welcomed addition in my eyes.

    I think Frampton is a left footed defender who can cover both as a CB and LB . He has been playing for Swindon at CB I although I think you are right Tutt-Tutt he has played most of his career at LB .

    He is the sort of player that could provide us with cover if there are no better options . Swindon have struggled badly since he joined them , certainly not a player to move us to the next level  .

    According to some Lions supporting mates  Schofield has said he wants a move back up north .

    Im not sure if this really says more about us than those players. They scored loads before coming to us, joined us and didn't really do much, then leave and start scoring again!

    Sullivan should be our No 1 next season.

    Schofield won't sign, he's too busy hosting The Cube.

    You are getting him confused with Dave Martin who left Millwall to join Derby last season , ironically he might be available having not settled in and being loaned out to Notts County last season . As a natural left footer if we let go of Reid then he might be worth a punt .
