Paul Scholes retires having won 10 Premier Leagues, 3 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and 1 Champions League.

He is moving on to the Man U coaching staff, presumably not coaching on tackling though.

Great player - I say grudgingly

Looked like he'd already retired on Saturday

He could tackle perfectly well when he wanted to.  He didnt last all those years in the England and Man U side without being able to tackle.

I think it is more like he choose how he tackled, especially later on in his career when Keane wasn't there to do the enforcer role.

I think McOxo wll have a ceremonial match when he retires
  • Paul Scholes is one of the best midfield players I have ever seen.......a marvellous box to box player with a fantastic first touch, terrific vision and a fierce competitor.

Had an interview for the Oldham managers job. Clarence Seedorf was linked with it a few weeks ago.

Oldham should be looking with managers that know this level, not marquee names.
