First part of blog was very good. Last part was I though self grandiose twaddle . But what do I know.

He has probably either had to call in favours or done some digging where he shouldn't have done to find it out, hence the reticence.

For me, it confirms what I suspected:
- there are more backers beyond Slater and Jiminez
- they do have money
- they may or may not choose to invest some of this into CAFC - more of a QPR approach than Man City
- they are not supporters
- they are looking to make a return out of CAFC - and that could be either through playing our way to the Prem or by selling off and developing the ground if we are footballing no-hopers, hence the "range of outcomes"

I had a gap of five weeks between blog posts because I wasn't sure what to do about the fact that I had received some insights into the takeover.  If I said nothing, then it would have made it very hard to continue writing whilst pretending I didn't know anything.  Conversely it wouldn't be appropriate to write down everything I know because of the way I found out about it (in a social not a business context), and because I'm not in the mood to test any confidentiality laws that may exist regarding British Virgin Islands entities in light of recent news stories. I thus decided to allude to the fact that I had some extra facts and try to give a balanced view as to what it might mean for the club (obviously I don't have all the answers, far from it). 

I'd say Weegie Addick is firmly on the right lines if that helps.
