That we are close to signing Clayton Donaldson from Crewe Alex??

The person I know works for CAFC so I'm hoping this is true BUT don't shoot the messenger if it dosent happen!!

I can't see him making a story like this up as I had not really heard of the player before?

    I think a few people may know i'd be very happy about this signing, 27 goals for crewe quick tall target man. i feel would be great in this league.

    Is worth a punt, out of all the linked strikers he is 1 that has actually scored goals last season, I would take this signing as either Benson is gone, or Hayes won't know happen

    If we sign him he reminds me of Iwelumo, tall striker who has scored goals in the lower leagues and someone I've never heard of.
