Don't get over excited - I haven't got a photo of him walking out of sparrows lane or any evidence that he could be coming back, however, I still live in hope that he may. I expect him to drop down from the premiership and as we are apparently looking to build a championship standard team we may be able to offer championship wages on this one as we wouldn't be required to pay a transfer fee.

I guess it depends how Powelly got on with him when they were both playing for us and who else is in for him.

Do you think there could be a chance or am I really dreaming here? We badly miss a creative player ever since he left.

    I think a player like Reid would draw the line above League 1. He isn't young and up and coming and should easily be Championship quality. If we got him it would be the most positive move I could imagine but I really can't see it.

    A player to build your squad around but he will not be coming to Charlton unfortunately.
