Friday 9th June 1905, a number of youth clubs in the South East London area combined to form Charlton Athletic Football Club.

We are 106 years old today! :) Happy Birthday CAFC

    Definitely, I am quite confident about the new season. More excited than I have been for at least a couple of years. With the new managerial structure, talk of investment and trying to get the good old Charlton back i'm optimistic for us!

    Same here. For once i am actually feeling optimistic at the start of the season, even if we're only in this awful league.

    The team was formed by 14 year old boys

    Sorry Henry, I only got that little piece of information from Wikipedia, I did know it was the clubs birthday today though.
