would be a good signing. I still think our centre backs that we have are not up to it.

    agreed, would give us a strong base. With Bougerra or Diawarra's pace next to him, would be a good blend.

    if we are going to go for someone at the end of their career, i would much rather it be him than Sheringham.

    In fact, i don't think we could sign anyone worse than Sheringham...

    De Zeeuw would be an excellent signing......definately not Sheringham NO NO NO NO NO NO....didn't want him 3 years ago when we were linked and even more so don't want him now !

    re Sheringham I'd be prepared to trust Pards and accept that he knows what he is doing. We need to get out of The Championship and if he thinks Teddy will help in that then that's fine by me.

    De Zeeuw would be a great signing, he has been quality wherever he has been and would really organise our defensive unit.

    thats the reason i wouldnt want teddy, he is no better than marcus and jerome! the guy is 40 and he was going out with that thick racist scouser! We dont need people like that at our club innit!! Imagine that tho, like you say eltham tedd jerome and marcus all talking about that scouse bint!

    I think de zeeuw was their player of the year so can't believe they're releasing him. Would be a good signing but personally i feel we need to look at other areas of the side first.
