There has been a total of 1,517 Foreign players in the Italian Serie A League Championship from season 1929-30 to 2010-11.
Not surprisingly, Inter Milan have had the most Foreign players with 166.
Argentina has supplied the most Foreign players with 226.
There have been 22 English players in Serie A to date.
A total of 83 different countries have supplied players to Serie A.
57 of the 60 Italian clubs who have participated in Serie A since 1929 have had at least one Foreign player.
The three exceptions are Casale, Pro Vercelli and Ternana.

No, I just missed Semedo. There's also at least one Swedish player. Still one English player to get.and an italian, Di Canio

He was the coach, although in Italy that usually means the same as manger over here. Clubs will have a team manager in the family tree but its usually an admin role. The bloke in question was John "Dai" Astley who was there in 1948, played for us in the 30's.OK, which ex Charlton player coached Inter
