Government blames Charlton Life for lackluster economy

Okay, I made that up.  But so much time is wasted/spent* on this site.  I just wondered if shutting down the "rumours rumours" thread would dramatically improve GDP.  Do any of you feel responsible for the country's economic woes?  Discuss.
