I signed up for it straight away and got loads of texts about the fixtures etc, yet I have not had one about any of the signings made this week am I alone?  Or does the service not cover signings?

I do but I am not always at a computer, my work is part office based.  So the text service is a nice safety net for me.

Ok I shall pull my socks up and use initiative :)
  • You can setup Twitter so that you get texts for particular people you follow.

    Twitter.com
    Profile
    Mobile
Register your mobile number and make sure the first box is ticked. Check the options for direct messages and times.
Then look at the profile for CAFCoffical and then find the little mobile symbol and switch it on.

    Job done and free.

You can turn it off and on via text messages as well.

Cancel the text service and buy yourself a beer :-)

The text service is expensive so I was in two minds. It should certainly have first news on signings! Remember the free service t mobile provided when we were premier league? Outstanding, free and lightning fast.

I got two texts today - the first in a couple of weeks. Reply STOP  - That's the end of that.

Yes, announced Dowie leaving before on here, Sky, official site or anything!

I remember receiving that same text on the train back from Brighton!
